Vehicle description
(866) 720-2864 (866) 720-2864 1977 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Convertible Exterior Color: Red Interior Color: Black Transmission: Automatic Mileage: 109,564 Up for sale is a beautiful 1977 Mercedes-Benz 280SL hardtop convertible. This 280SL spent most of its life in California, where it was purchased by the original owner, until it was brought to Arizona by the second owner (Clean Arizona Title). Shows CA on the title as well by previous owner.
All in all this is a very easy project to complete. Floors are solid for the most part as the rust seems to be located by the rear trunk lid. See photos showing bubbling under the paint. I"ve had it for the past 6 months and have not had the time nor money to get her purring again. Previous owner mentioned it just needed a battery, but was sitting for a bit and I"d imagine the fuel system needs to be flushed. This vehicle will come with a clean and clear title in my name. Have original paperwork to show it was purchased in CA and then titled in Arizona.
Not sure the condition of the soft-top, but was told it was in good shape (black canvas top). As prices seem to be rapidly increasing for these gorgeous r107"s, this car would clean up very nicely and make a great addition to anyones collection. Rear deck lid still has sap on the car from sitting, will rub off but was going to repaint the trunk so never cleaned it. Not only is it a sought after model (280SL), but it has a lot of car left. Just needs the right person to bring her back to life. Any questions feel free to ask. Have plenty more photos and videos of the car. Will try to locate the books as put them aside somewhere. International buyers are welcome and will assist with transport. Vehicle Description Up for sale is a beautiful 1977 Mercedes-Benz 280SL hardtop convertible.
