1977 Mercedes Benz 280E W123 Sedan
Introduced in 1976, the W123 platform included a four door sedan and sleek coupe. The incoming W123s were styled after the new S-Class. The W123 offered a longer wheelbase, a wider track and a larger body. They came equipped with many optional and standard class-leading features. The car was better engineered for crash protection - accomplished with a strengthened passenger age and reinforced roof.
280Es are legendary for their reliability and longevity. Features include a 2.8L straight six cylinder gasoline engine, 4 speed automatic transmission, automatic climate control with A/C, cruise control, electric windows; sunroof, zebrano wood trim and 4 wheel disc brakes.
This survivor car lived most of its life in Malibu California until 3 years ago when the previous owner moved to Quebec CN. Then came to Long Island New York last year. It includes: spare wheel/tire, factory jack, first aid kit, owners manual and original warranty booklet along with an original key. It was always garaged and has been well maintained its entire life. This car has been freshly serviced, new tires, brakes and is ready to be enjoyed.
Recent Service includes: Oil and filter change Coolant change with Thermostat and O-ring Transmission was serviced Power steering filter was replaced. Front and rear brake pads were replaced with new Textar pads. Right rear caliper was replaced with a new Ate brake caliper. Brake system has been flushed out. Engine air filter was replaced with new. Spark plugs replaced with Bosch plugs Spark plug wires replaced with Beru wires Distributor cap was replaced with Bosch cap. Valve cover gasket was replaced. Airbox breather tube was replaced All four tires were replaced with Goodyear Integrity 195/70R14 tires Replaced wiper blades with new New battery installed in July 2019
