Vehicle description

Up for auction is a very clean rust free, running, and driving 1977 Jeep J-20 pickup. NO RUST except minimal surface rust. This truck has new carpet and I can send pictures of the floors showing minimal surface rust. The little bit of floorboard rust was treated with rust converter and painted with Rustoleum rust inhibitor paint (can send pictures). It has a new factory motorcraft carburetor on the stock AMC 360 motor and starts every time no matter the temperature. It runs and idles smooth. The engine has no know oil leaks. The steering box leaks power steering fluid at the pitman arm and the transfer case drips a little. DUI ignition. New muffler and tail pipe Brakes work great. Dash has replacement LED bulbs that still work with the dimmer. The fuel gauge doesn’t work and I’m not sure if it’s the gauge or sending unit in the tank. All the heating / defrost switches and buttons work and have new rubber vacuum hoses. Seat is in great condition, it’s from a ’77 Wagoneer. Doors and windows are manual and work great. New rubber door seals. New internally regulated alternator and new battery. Tires are nearly new Goodyear 265/75/16. T-18 4 speed manual transmission with ‘granny’ first gear. Dana 20 transfer case Stock disc brake Dana 44 front and stock Dana 60 rear axle. Both have stock low 4:10 gears I use and drive this truck weekly and it’s a blast to drive. It’s a real head turner and gets lots of attention. It cruses around 65-70mph on the highway but not much faster due to the low differential gears. Oil pressure could be a little higher but runs just shy of 40psi according to the factory gauge. Clutch will need to be replaced sooner than later, it releases toward the end of the pedal travel. I have a few more pictures and can do a video call if you can’t see it in person. Feel free to call with questions. 7one nine 2 fourthree 0 six five 8
