Vehicle description
Up for sale is a 1977 F250. It started its life as a 460 Automatic 2wd and had every option available at the time. Power Steering, Air Condition, Power Brakes, Cruise Control, and all the trim/chrome available. Truck is a one-owner with 70k miles. Solid and rust free. The original owner was restoring it. He had replaced windshield, back sliding rear glass, new doors-because of mirror holes only, not because of rust. He had the truck repainted the factory colors. We picked up the truck half finished in that project. We loved the condition of it but did not love the 460 automatic and 2wd. So we purchased another truck that was factory 300-6cylinder because everyone knows you can"t beat the Torque and reliability of them. It has had a few upgrades to the 300; HEI Chevy style distributor, One wire 110 amp polished Alternator, 4 core radiator, The donor truck was also Factory Air Condition, Power Steering, Power brakes, Disc brakes, Manual 4 speed and 4wd and factory leaf springs up front so that eliminated the Ford twin i-beam. It now has Factory Dana 44 up front and Dana 70 in the rear. New Aluminum Differential covers on both with fresh fluids. Also a New clutch, trans with all new fluids, Shifts smooth & no grinds. 4x4 works great. No dents in the bed floor like most of these trucks that was worked to death. This truck was loved and babied. We also turned the truck into a dually with brand new American Racing wheels and Brand new Federal mud tires. The truck will make a 60k+ dollar truck with a little more detailing. I just have too many other classics to give this truck the Attention it needs to be on the next level. It will not take much money. Just time, detailing and touching up things. All of the interior is new or in great condition. Has the rare Lariat headliner. All trim is in great condition also. If you have any questions feel free to call me Asking $26,500 or best over If you do not wish to keep the writing on the side, it was hand painted, over the clear, so it would wet sand off without hurting the paint underneath.
