1977 VW SUPER BETTLE BUG - CONVERTIBLE Thanks for viewing this classic This is a project bug, with good bones! With minimal prompting it runs and drives. The engine is a replacement with good compression, and clean functioning. It is a 1600 cc replacement. VW convertibles are very sought after by a special class of enthusiasts. Hope you are one! I am selling this for the owner, who has a collection of vintage vehicles. Originally, he was planning to do the needed restoration. But, time has passed and he has moved on to ther priorities. VIN NUMBER: 1972067955 This convertible is a project thanks to a fire that burnt the rear seat and top. Pictures show the damage. The beauty is a rust free frame, chassis, and body. The floor pans are good! It starts as most typical VW"s do. . reliably and quickly. What you see is what you get. No guarantees, but the price expectation is reasonable.
