Up for auction for the first time is a 1977 Chevy Van G20 SWB van project. 350 V8, 350 transmission, PS, PDB, tilt wheel, flare & spoiler package, vintage Western daisy wheels, original blue California license plates. I am selling this van for my friend, the original owner. He ordered it new in 1977 from Hoffman Chevrolet and then perform second day mods with color matched flare/spoiler package, Western daisy mags with Torque Twister tires (tires gone now), headers, stereo, and interior customization. We had years of good times in this van.
In 1999 he wanted to resurrect and update the van, so we stripped out all of the interior except for the worn out captains chairs up front. He dropped it at a repair shop to rebuild the original 350 V8, the 350 turbo transmission, and the rear end. The motor and trans were completed and installed, but he ran low on funds and held off on the rear end. The engine had trouble idling and being streetable because the cam was to big. He then had a family and the van sat at the mechanic"s shop until he went out of business in 2020. I went and picked up the van and drove it onto my trailer and stored it for him. I can no longer store it, so here we are and it is now available for someone else to enjoy.
I would probably change the cam to something more streetable, but the motor & trans have 0 miles since the rebuild 21 years ago. The original title has been lost so this van will sell on a Bill Of Sale as a project or parts vehicle. It may or may not start but I can assist with loading if needed. This van is being sold as a project and there is no warranty expressed or implied. Ask any and all questions prior to bidding.
