Vehicle description

Vehicle Details No "smoke and mirrors" here, just a nice, solid, all-original 1977 Camaro LT with a 305 (5 Liter) 8 Cylinder engine mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission. Runs and drives perfectly. Smooth shifting. Front disc and rear drum brakes, stop the car nice and straight, with no pulling. Tires are like new, including the full-size spare (which takes up half the trunk). Factory Rally wheels, with beauty rings and center caps are included, as is a car cover.Factory Air Conditioning; Power steering; Power windows; Power locks. Everything works as it should. The car even has the factory AM/FM/8-Track! (The antenna is in the windshield and doesn't work very well, and the 8-Track works when it feels like it. .with some coaxing.)I bought this car, which was originally from Oregon, for my wife's birthday back in 2004, as an "I'm sorry I made you sell the one you had when I met you". It is identical to hers, and served its purpose, but has spent much of the time we've owned it in our garage up in Lake George. The current mileage is an original 99,300; only 10,000 more than it had when we bought it! Time for it to go to someone who will appreciate and enjoy it on a more regular basis.By the way: We just drove it down to Westchester from Lake George (200 miles), with no problems whatsoever, and would be comfortable driving this car anywhere, any time with no concerns. What it needs: PAINT! It needed paint when we got it and it still does. The previous owner had it resprayed (very inexpensively, I hope) and the original blue paint can be seen in the trunk, door jambs, and in many spots where the "new" paint has fallen off. There is some very minor rust around the passenger side wheel wells, and a dent in the right rear quarter that looks like someone started to fill, but never finished. It came to us that way. There is a big scratch in the passenger door that I put there when I made contact with a gas grill that was parked too close to the garage door. Not deep, but will need to be smoothed out before the car is painted. The driver's side door, inside arm rest will need to be replaced as well. It was broken pulling closed the massive door. Anything you need for this car is available through Eckler's. They have a whole catalog of Camaro-only parts at www.rickscamaros.comYou may notice in the pictures that one of the "LT" badges is missing. It got lost at some point, and I have a replacement for it, but was waiting until it got painted to have it put on. Still waiting.Pretty much all this car needs is paint, and it should be ready to win some trophies. I don't expect it to last long at this price, so if you're been looking for a time machine to take you back to the 70's. . you've found it! Images Download the Motors app
