Sadly, I am reluctantly selling my beloved VW bus. I am moving and can’t keep her. The bus is one-of-a-kind. She’s not perfect, but she is beautiful and happy. Everywhere she goes, heads turn, thumbs up signs abound and a lot people want to see it and talk about it.
It is mechanically sound, having just received a major tune up, including a new catalytic converter, a rebuilt air flow meter, a rebuilt ECU computer, and new brake booster. Wants to idle a bit high when warm, but runs great and starts every time. She steers straight and brakes just fine. Recently smogged, so it does not need a new smog at sale.
It has a new, beautiful headliner. Powder coated wheels for the new sidewall reinforced tires. New powder coated bumpers. All four wind wings are new and the rubber around all the other windows is new too.
The bus is RUST FREE except in the rear rain gutter and a bit in front under the windshield. Otherwise, no rust anywhere.
The curtains are handmade and hung using a nifty earth magnet system, meaning no holes.
