Vehicle description
You are bidding on an excellent running example of a 1976 Triumph Spitfire with Overdrive. She took 2nd place at the 2017 Central Coast English Car Show in Ventura, CA. You"ll enjoy talking and waving at people while owning this car - it"s a constant thing. The car has been nothing but fun to drive on the Pacific Coast Highway this summer. Everything has been inspected, repaired or updated from front to back. She has over $4,000 in new parts installed and runs great. Paint is 10 years old but the car has been garaged since. She still looks great but it has three spots that need attention if you want it perfect! The new dash is rosewood with matching D-Spec steering wheel with a Nardi adapter and is beautiful. New gauge bezels and glass. All speedo components have been replaced. New floor carpets with Triumph logos. The top and cover are currently removed and in good shape. The tonneau cover is great for getting around. Plus what car out there has a tonneau cover? The front and rear suspension have all new bushings and shocks. New tires and alignment. New brake and clutch master cylinders. New transmission tunnel, sound insulation, and electric harness. The carburetor has been rebuilt, new exhaust manifold, EGR valve, and exhaust gasket installed. Current cylinder compression pressures No1: 168, No2:170, No3:169, No4:173. New seals throughout the engine. New dual-core radiator and hoses. New battery installed. Plus more! The car has just been serviced and passed California Smog with flying colors.
This is your chance to drive a classic English car that everyone enjoys being around. Don"t miss out!
