Vehicle description
(888) 761-1042 (888) 761-1042 Video 1976 Porsche 914 2.0 87760 Miles Summer Yellow Convertible 2.0L 4Cyl 5-Speed Man Exterior Color: Summer Yellow Interior Color: Black Body Type: Convertible Transmission: 5-Speed Manual Drivetrain: RWD Engine: 2.0L 4Cyl Mileage: 87,760 The beloved Porsche 914 has had its ups and downs but it is hard not to love this sporty little two-seater that provides so much fun factor for a small price. They were the car that gave Porsche the necessary capital to continue to build the 911 and keep the company moving forward in the 70"s.
Very pleased to bring to market this gorgeous 1976 Porsche 914 2.0L that marks the last year of the 914 production. The 2.0L was the larger setup and most desired to get the performance and extra handling aspects that the drivers loved. This car was sold new out of Dick Strong Motors in Ugden UT on 2-11-1976 and was routinely serviced by that dealer up thru 1981 with evidence in the service booklet. Vehicle then found its way to Colorado where it would stay till recently when we acquired the car. Vehicle has extensive records and journal entries over the past few decades and the car shows great in person. Vehicle retains the Factory Appearance package which nicely sets it apart from the others on the market.
Vehicle fires up with ease and recent battery, fuel filter and fuel pump were just installed. Further enhancements include; high compression pistons and cylinders, lightened crank, lightweight wrist pans, heads rebuilt, chrome molly retainers, ported and polished runners, high lift cam .426lift 262 duration, lightened flywheel with 911 clutch and pressure plate, electronic ignition, stainless SSI heat exchangers and Bursch muffler.
Also some other highlights; 914 cross drilled rotors, 19mm master cylinder, braided stainless steel brake lines, ATE super blue brake fluid, transmission rebuilt with new synchro"s, and Weltmeister short shifter.
The car has redone seats, carpet, door panels, dash and Targa top. The car also has brand new Porsche crests in the wheels. Vehicle comes with extensive service receipts, clean title, journal book, and factory manual.
