“This beautiful and impressive Mercedes has been in our family for 44 years! Bought new by my brother, it was a sign of great accomplishment in its era. Today it still looks beautiful and attracts compliments wherever it goes. It runs well and recently passed California smog testing. The repaint was not an expensive job but still looks great. The soft top is in excellent condition. It also has a hardtop, slightly mismatched in color. The interior is strong. Issues: a tear in the carpet on the driver's side, a tiny oil drip, actual miles unknown but was driven vey rarely since odometer stopped, A/C runs but does not blow cold, cruise does not work. Please remember this is a 44 year old car and beautiful but imperfect. Please ask any questions that are important to you BEFORE you bid.”

On Aug-14-20 at 18:55:53 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: In answer to miscellaneous questions: -The car was painted because the paint was splotchy and faded. -As noted, the paint is not show quality but the car looks great. -There appears to be no rust. -The car was kept inside in a California garage for the vast majority of it"s life. -I have few records as the car was passed to me by my brother. -It starts easily and runs great. -The tires are Michelins and are excellent. -I hold clear title. Most importantly: You are bidding on a great old vehicle starting at $7500. You are not bidding on a new AMG. Please recognize that this is an extraordinary old car that was used by it"s owners, and if you are hyper concerned about any aspect of it please simply pass. Also- any bidders with zero or negative feedback will be cancelled unless they message me first with contact info to discuss their ability to buy. Thanks!
