Vehicle description

About this vehicle This 1976 Land Rover Defender is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes This is a 1986 since this car is an import wasn’t letting me input my title info. I also have two great videos of the interior, starting, under Body as well Vehicle Details Fully restored 1986 defender, imported from over seas, served in Desert Storm 200 tdi Diesel engine Brand new R380 transmission (10k) Right hand Drive Custom marine grade stereo ($7500+) - fully waterproof, for 6.5” custom JL audio and fusion amp, including a 12” marine subwooofer. This thing is loud but sound great. Black leather interior, with cross sticthing Comes with two Jerry cans Compressor under rear fender for beach trips Low miles on a rebuild 85,000, the odometer reads 185, but the tag on the engine says it was rebuilt in 2008 or 9. I’ll look again. Soft canvas top + Bimini top, I currently have the top off and garage stored. Clean New York title in hand Can drive away tomorrow Runs absolutely incredible, I love it but I just need something more practical and a daily driver. It’s the ultimate beach car, need a good home. I’ll take interior pics tomorrow Please let me know if you want it with or without the top, currently it is off and I don’t feel like putting it back on haha, but I will if requested. Pros - Ready to drive Garage kept Served in desert storm, it’s got some minor dents from serving, the guy who restored it left them because he believed it added and kept the character of the car. The loudest sound system in Long Island but you can tune it so it’s crystal clear at low volume You will get way more compliments on this versus the ones build in California for 150,000 guaranteed. True classic Brand new R380 transmission, I was preparing for the engine upgrade as well. Cons - just noticed the exhaust cracked you can see it, I’m not gonna fix that, it’s easy and cheap. - the hose to the compressor needs to be replaced, and a new belt. - you may not like the dents, I didn’t much at first either but I absolutely love them now and understand why they were left. - the fuel gage stopped working, probably just got disconnected somewhere. I drive in Montauk so I didn’t plan to fix it. - I’m selling it Exterior Interior Engine I just noticed the crack in the exhaust. Doesn’t seem to have an effect on driving, you can see it in the turn on that photo. Download the Motors app
