Seller"s Notes I bought the car from the original owner, I bought it with the intentions of building a track car when I soon realized this car was too clean and original to be modified. I know there is people out there searching for a Z-Series in these conditions and I made the decision to sell it to somebody and find a care more appropriate to be modified. Vehicle Details I am proud to offer my very original 1976 Datsun 280z, the car has been in hibernation since 1990 and has finally awoken. With 36k original miles it comes equipped with its numbers-matching drive train, a 2.8L straight six engine and 4 speed manual transmission. The car has its original California blue plates with the license plate frame from the original dealer it was purchased from. The car still bares what’s left of its original paint and it’s original undercoating is in great condition for it’s age. This car rolled out of the assembly line with Sliver Metallic paint code 306 and black interior. The car has been sitting on it’s set of Yokohama GT Special Steel tires, I recently removed those tires and installed some newer tires in order to safely drive the car. I have kept the GT Special Steel tires with the car to preserve its originality. The car also has a Nissan brand battery, It is possible to be the original battery that the car had when new. The car includes the original jack, tool kit and spare wheel. The car runs and drives, front head lamps, tail lights, engine compartment lights are all in working order. These are increasingly becoming harder to find in these conditions and prices are going through the roof. This is a wonderful example of a well preserved Z-series Datsun and an opportunity to purchase one at a fair price.
