Vehicle description
This is a 1976 Chevy Vega that my Uncle owned before he passed away, so I don"t have much info about when the last time anything was done to it. I apologize for that, but please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
This is unit 2251 of 3508 per the plaque on the dash.
I have test driven it on a highway and nothing sounds out of place.
I assume it"s the original clutch and it shifts gears as well as you would expect. It"s only a 4-speed transmission so the RPM gets pretty high even at 60-70 MPH so I haven"t pushed it any further than that. The gauges, lights, wipers, windows, radio, and seat belts work as expected.
The car is in fair condition and is all original (except the hood and driver-side door). This is ideal for a project car if you don"t need/want to start from scratch. The car runs but needs a tune-up as it struggles initially to turn over. Only minor dents and scratches.
The car comes with a jack, replacement black hood and the old, already replaced red driver-side door. I also have the Title in hand.
