Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1976 Chevrolet El Camino is a project vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work. Seller"s Notes $500 deposit by PayPal within 24 hours the balance cash on pickup. Vehicle Details It only does not run because I started the maintenance and repairs on it. You finish it. Preowned 1976 El Camino red classic pickup automatic rear wheel drive with factor air which isn’t hooked up. The previous owner coated it black all over even underneath which stopped a lot of the weather affecting the vehicle. There is some rust through behind the seats but it’s small and could use two patches. The floors, frame and underneath look solid. I bought this pickup as a project a few months ago running and I have a video of it running. Since then I’ve been doing work to it when I have time but I have other projects also. I removed the gas tank and neutralized any surface rust underneath then sprayed it with rubberized coating. I cleaned the gas tank out, did a few patches on the tank where there were small rust holes and coated it also. I blew air through the fuel lines to clear any debris out so the fuel system is fresh with a new fuel filter and fuel sending unit. I put 7 of 8 new plugs in because I couldn’t into that space with the exhaust pipes there. I replaced the electronic distributor and I will include the one that was in there when I got it. I think you will need to just set the timing with the distributor and get fuel pumped to the carburetor for it to start. It will turn over with the battery charged but isn’t fully ready to run. Someone put bondo on the dash, radio isn’t there but gauges are. There is a blue light in the dash not the factory white and the steering wheel looks to have been replaced. I did all of the repairs I could in the time I had with a driveway full of cars. I need the room and I’m only listing this so someone can finish it if you’re up to it. I bought this truck with previous registration only but I like my vehicles titled so it will come with a Massachusetts clean title. The mileage was checked as well as the vin before registration. I’ve driven this around my driveway and it felt pretty good seems like it has some power to it. The tires will need to be replaced due to sitting and the previous owner peeled the tires off of the old rims-the extra rims and parts are included. I do have some chrome exterior trim to go with it. If you have any questions please ask before hitting but it now. The headlights were changed to the kind that have the led rings but the rings don’t work the headlights and taillights do work. You will be asked to make a $500 non refundable deposit by PayPal with 24 hours. The remaining amount in cash. No checks or money orders due to the increase in scamming. You will need a winch to get this on the trailer. I will have air in all of the tires so it free rolls fine. There are no other 1976 Camino classics for sale on at this time.
