1976 Corvette Stingray L48 . The last year of the Stingray model year. This car is great condition with a solid frame and many nice options. It is currently registered and is being driven on the weekends. It features Power Windows Power steering Power Antenna rear defogger and Air Conditioning. The car was registered in Pennsylvania where yearly inspections are mandatory so it still has the catalyic converter. This Corvette was originally Silver and was repainted blue.The paint is checked peeling and bubbling in spots. The drive train is solid and tight. The fluids are topped off and ready for summer cruising. You can get in this car and drive anywhere. BODY- The fiberglass is in Great condition With No Cracks Or Chips in any Of The Rubber bumpers. The Paint is in nice driver condition and does shine in some spots but not everywhere. This will need completely stripped and repainted to make It perfect. The frame is in great condition and super solid. There was a small rust spot on the driver"s side rear frame and was repaired with the proper gauge metal. During that time the drain holes were all unplugged and then the area was shot with black paint. The glass and TTOPS are in great condition with no cracks or chips. It also has the Spare tire carrier and spare tire. ALL of the original badges are on the car and are in good condition. All lenses are also good. There is also a factory luggage rack installed. DRIVETRAIN - This is an L48 350 cu. automatic and it does have the original matching number motor. The transmission is a TH350 and shifts smooth and the kickdown works too. The rear end was serviced and rebuilt about 8 years ago. The car starts right up does not blow smoke and idles very smooth. The car is also quiet and runs extremely smooth. The brakes, steering and suspension are all tight and work great. There is also a radiator protector screen to keep It Debris free. This car has a good alignment on it and handles the road really well. INTERIOR- This car has many cool features and options. It has a tilt telescopic steering wheel power windows and a rear window defogger. The seat leather is in very good condition and the door panels are great. The Dash is in good condition except for a small crack above the speaker grill. The carpet is clean plush silver. There is however a wear mark on the passenger side where your feet go but I"d covered with a floor mat. Some one put an after market alarm system at one time. The wires are there but it is missing the actual alarm horn. The T Tops are missing the plastic headliners. They do not leak. The passenger side A pillar interior molding is not correct but does fit. The radio is a cassette stereo and has a power antenna that is activated when the radio is turned on. The speakers were upgraded and two were added in the back and all sound great. All the interior lights work and the even the clock keeps good time.
