“1975 Triumph Stag. House move forces sale. Currently stripped down for painting, but I ran out of time. Original engine runs well and has been filled with non ethylene gas. Previous owner had engine rebuild completed 10 years ago by TS club founder. Since then it has hardly been driven, but started regularly and fluids changed. Mileage is not as high as stated. Body work is in pretty good shape, no major rust problems. underbody had ziebart (bitumen) coating which has been stripped down. All chromework is in good shape. Hard and soft tops , soft top frame needs a bit of work. Original Rostyle wheels with 4 good tires. The car is a continental European model, probably from Belgium. Original owner was a US diplomat working in the US who wanted a LHD model for when he returned to the USA.” |
