Vehicle description
1975 Pontiac Trans Am 400 c.i. TH350.
I have a 1975 Trans Am with the Pontiac 400 with a Hydraulic Hi Performance Comp Cam and a newly rebuilt 350 Turbo transmission for sale. Rochester Quadrajet 4 barrel carb, Pontiac Performer aluminum intake manifold, Pontiac #46 cylinder heads and dual Flowmaster 40 mufflers. Runs great , sounds awesome. Car has current inspection and clear title.
Looks good. Original color was red, previous owner changed to blue. Good paint job but not perfect. Has some chips and a few bubbles, ding here and there. I would go back to red personally. Wheel flares are missing. I have the front valence panel in trunk. The front end has been completely rebuilt and lowered with Hotchkis springs and shocks as detailed below, needs an alignment.
Interior is close to brand new. No cracks in dash, near perfect door panels from a 73 Super Duty I was told, headliner perfect, new front seats, rear seat is original but perfect, new visors, console door, weather stripping, and more. It is an A/C car but does not have any of the A/C components, other than that the car is complete and all the little, usually forgotten about details are done. All gauges work. No leaks or drips.
Below is a list of most of the items that have been replaced on the car over the past few years. Book of receipts included. I have owned the car for about 4 years, slowly building it while using it as a weekend cruiser. Daughter will be driving soon and need to get her a car, otherwise I would keep and continue to build on it. The car needs some more work, I don"t want to oversell its condition but it would be hard to find a more solid, complete Trans Am . Thanks for bidding.
Items recently replaced include:
New brake calipers New brake rotors New brake lines New proportioning valve New wheel bearings New master cylinder New starter New alternator New battery, cables and tray New front sway bar New control arm bushings New idler arm New pitman arm New inner and outer tie rods New ball joints New radiator New fan shroud New Pro Billet timing set with Billet gears New HEI distributor New Hotchkis 3" lowering springs New Hotchis 3" lowering shocks New body mount bushings New rear sway bar New leaf springs New Comp Cam # 51-224-4 Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Flat Tappet Cam 2000 stall New exhaust manifolds New hood insulation New gas tank sending unit Rebuilt TH350 transmission New front seat foam New deluxe seat covers New kick panels New carpet New floor mats New old school bluetooth stereo and speakers New visors New console door New inner lower tail section New weather stripping
