Up for sale is a 1975 Mercedes-Benz W115, 230 with only about 98000 ml, gently used from a lady all the years from day 1. The Mercedes-Benz W115 models are a series of sedans and coupés introduced in 1968 by Mercedes-Benz, manufactured through model year 1976, and distinguished in the marketplace by names relating to their engine size. W115 models featured four-cylinder engines and were marketed as the 200, 220, 230, and 240. Beginning in 1968, Mercedes marketed their model range as New Generation Models,[2] giving their ID plates the designation "/8" (due to their 1968 Launch year). Because they were the only truly new cars of the so-called "New Generation" and because of the "/8" or "slash eight" designation, W114 and W115 models ultimately received the German nickname Strich Acht, loosely translated into the English stroke eight. The Mercedes-Benz W115 was the mid-sized saloon model for Mercedes, positioned below the S-Class. The Mercedes-Benz W115 is known to be a very durable car. In 2004 Greek taxi driver Gregorios Sachinidis donated his 1976 Mercedes-Benz 240D to the Mercedes-Benz Museum Collection with 4.6 million kilometers on the odometer, which is recognised as the Mercedes-Benz with the highest recorded mileage known to date. So if you want to drive a car like this, don"t hesitate. I am sure it is sold fast. This car is beautiful inside and out. The Mercedes is accident and rust free, and is only driven a little more then 92,000 ml. It comes in one of its most rare color combinations kaledoniengruen (light green) with green MB Tex upholstery. It is truly a beautiful and classic elegant car! The car is very straight with no dings, dents or damage, but one 4 inch long dent above the moulding of the right front fender. There are also small surface rust appearances around the chrome mouldings. We will let that done before the delivery to the new owner. All wood parts and the dash are in excellent condition. The wheels look like gorgeous, only very light scratches can be found, as you see on the pictures, and the tires are almost brand new. The Mercedes has no known mechanical issues at all! Everything works as it should. The A/C blows ice cold and the steering is very tight. We serviced the car throughout and it needs nothing but a new owner! We took a lot of pictures so you can judge for yourself. The car is currently driven for test drives, so the mileage at the date of sale might be slightly higher. Email me with any questions or call me at (Klaus). Will pick up buyer from Fort Myers Airport and help with shipping.
