Vehicle description
Up for auction is a 1975 Ford Bronco with a 302 V8, 3spd transmission and the Heavy Duty 4900GVW package. According to the glove compartment data plate, this Bronco is equipped with a big bearing Trac-Lok axle (B9) with 11" brakes. Amazingly, this Bronco was purchased from the ORIGINAL owner. The metal warranty card is included which I have never seen before, including other original brochures and pamphlets. I believe this Bronco sat on the dealers lot for a year or so until it was purchased. The title shows January of 1977, and is signed by the original owner. I replaced the distributor, spark plug wires, and carburetor. It starts up and runs pretty well using a small gas can, however it won"t move forward or backward, I"m assuming the clutch needs some attention. Brakes are nonexistent.
Here"s a link to the engine idling, the audio is a little weird (you"ll probably need to copy/paste this): https:/ imgur.com/53PfJiV https:/ imgur.com/53PfJiV https:/ imgur.com/53PfJiV https:/ imgur.com/53PfJiV https:/ imgur.com/53PfJiV https:/ imgur.com/53PfJiV https:/ imgur.com/53PfJiV https:/ imgur.com/53PfJiV
Battery is not included, and the coil was wired directly to the battery in order to get it running, keys are not available. The front drivers fender looks like a tree may have fell across it, and it"s missing the tailgate. The original black rubber mat is in place both front and rear, but obviously in rough condition. The drivers door is pretty rusty along the bottom, and I cannot get the passenger door open. Door posts are starting to get rusty, and the floors are rusty. The rear cargo area has rust issues around the wheel tubs, and the frame has holes in the back on either side of the gas tank. The Bronco rolls nicely, and obviously will need to be winched up onto a trailer. The inner rockers are surprisingly solid, and the top seems to be in decent shape. The windshield is cracked, but all the other windows seem OK.
