Vehicle description
Chevrolet Corvette.
1975 Chevrolet Corvette 383 stroker This stunning car is a prior "Good Times" car show winner for "Excellence". It is a painted chrome yellow pearl with custom black metal flake graphics. With custom upholstered Fiero seats, supersport front spoiler, Eckler side skirts with the 1981-style rear bumper, and vertical door conversion, this is one unique Corvette. It is fitted with "old school" style American Racing chrome 17" wheels. It also has the optional black vinyl covered hardtop.
This Corvette also comes with a full host of power options. They include: power steering, power disk brakes (new drilled/slotted rotors, linings, and calipers), power windows, power door locks, power antenna, tilt/telescope wheel, air conditioning, am/fm stereo, and alarm. The steering system has been converted over to "power rack and pinion" steering for trouble-free more accurate steering.
The heart of this beauty is a "383 cu.in. stroker small block built to 435 hp specifications". A few of the components contained in this build are:
- 10:1 compression ratio speed pro pistons
- Aluminum heads with 2.02/1.6 valves
- Roller rockers
- High lift cam
- Aluminum RPM-type intake with 750cfm Holley carb
- Aluminum accessory front drive
- Tight-tuck headers with 2.5 Magnaflow exhaust
The engine has less than 1,000 mile on it since original build.
Power flows through a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a "Boss Hog" 2500 rpm stall converter.
