Classic 1974 Volkswagen Bug , this is a no reserve listing . Selling for elderly friend who drove it regularly till last week but has to quit driving due to age related issues . Has clear unattached title . Strong good running 1600 and smooth nice shifting 4 Speed trans . New tires and good brakes / emergency brake / shocks / lights / speedometer / turn signals / gas gauge / wipers / windshield washers and heater . Has bright halogen headlights so a lot brighter than the old 6v bugs . Starts right up and steers nice and straight . Has pretty nice interior . really nice seats and door panels . Floorboards feel very solid . Drives nice for a 46 year old unrestored survivor . Everything works but the odometer . But she is 46 years old so paint is ruff and has some dings and rust starting but over all looks good and is pretty straight . Tried to take pictures so the light shows the worst spots . Has a headliner patch above rear window on passenger side , usual crack in plastic padded dash . A crack in the passenger side windshield , needs a glove box but has a new glove box door lock / latch . The trunk lock release lever is inside glove box door , doors lock . The only quirks I know of are the ignition/door key has to be inserted the right direction to work , key will go in either way but only work when inserted right direction . The speedometer works but the odometer doesn"t and the headlight switch will sometimes after pushing in to shut off lights will pop back out so till you get use to it"s feel double check make sure lights are off . A 46 year old classic you can drive while you restore or just drive it like it is . Needless to say being 46 years old there is no implied or other warranty .
