Toyota FJ40 1974,restored in 2011, no rust, daily driver, rhino lined bed 1974 Toyota LandCruiser. Condition is "Used".
Full off-body restoration in 2011. Rebuilt top-end in 2020. Daily driver. Upgraded marine stereo including Bazooka Tube speakers and Bazooka Subwoofer. Sony marine amp Kenwood head unit in center console. Garage kept and professionally maintained. Tuffy locking center console. Manual 3 speed transmission. Inline 6 cylinder engine. This is a one of a kind FJ40 restored by Mark"s Off Road in Burbank, CA in 2011. It has had 3 owners. I have owned the FJ since 2011 and it has been professionally maintained. There is no rust and can be a daily driver. I had the "top end" rebuilt this past year and great compression in all cylinders. A new Optima battery was installed and delivers the serious cranking amps for the inline 6 cylinder. It has less than 6,000 mile since the restoration. Exterior The body panels area cool blue and includes a 4" lift. The Yokohama 33" tires and ION rims provide an impressive stance and turns heads everywhere you go. The FJ does not leak and has seen very little of the elements. It has been garage kept since purchase. Interior Starting with a black Rhino lined floor, the interior is in perfect shape. Although never exposed to the elements, it is ready for whatever nature brings. I added a Tuffy center console a Sony marine amp, marine Bazooka Subwoofer and Bazooka Marine Tubes (the ones they use for wakeboard boats). The head unit is Sony. I am selling the FJ to make room for another toy. It will break my heart when it sells. I have replaced the below in the 10 years I have owned the truck. Vacuum for the brake booster (original rebuild leaked) Water pump Reconditioned radiator (the mechanic said it is weakening in the lower core and could be replaced, but not leaking) Steering center link pivots assembly There is a slight "chatter" from the clutch when starting in 1st gear, but not enough to fix/replace. Not in any other gear. My mechanic said "It is not time to replace it yet"
I have the spare matching Yokohama tire (new) and mount removed. It also comes with the red off-road jack.
