Vehicle description
For sale is a decent 1974 Grand Ville convertible. I acquired it 15 years ago as a trailer full of parts and then spent a couple of years putting it together. It has just about every option you could get accept for cruise control. Most of the options work accept for the A/C and automatic temperature control. If you need heat you can still get it by selecting defrost mode. The convertible top frame goes up and down as it should but there is no fabric. The header bow has some rust so I am not sure if new fabric should be installed without replacing it.
Frame, brakes, suspension, steering, tires, floor panels, trunk, and drive train are all in good shape. The compression in cylinder 1 is a little low so it doesn"t idle as smooth as I would like but it goes down the road well and doesn"t stall at stops.
Most of the left rear tail pipe is missing. It has an aftermarket radio (the dash has not been cut up) that was pretty nice at one time but the tuner doesn"t work any more so I listen to cassette tapes when I want to listen to music.
It is far from a show car but still gets a lot of positive comments when I"m out cruising with it.
I would prefer local pickup but I can deliver for a fee in the New England area.
