Great example of a rarer 1974 Pontiac Firebird Esprit. This car is now a Rockford Files tribute car. I am the 3rd owner and it originally was a North Carolina car. Car was repainted and restored in 2009 and has been meticulously cared for and garaged ever since. The car has not seen rain. It starts right up, runs smooth with good power and quiet, and drives like new. Everything works and the AC is hooked up but has a leak, it ran cold during the summer. Needs a recharge. Has the original numbers matching 350 motor & 350 automatic transmission.
Here are the details: -upgraded to 15” Rally II wheels and new tires, caps and trim rings -new front and rear emblems -NOS Pontiac 400 Fender Emblems like Jim Rockford’s car -new grills, turn signals and parking lights -new chromed bezels -new high beam switch -new 3-gauge lighted cluster installed (water, amps and oil pressure) -exhaust manifolds baked cleaned and decked flat, new gaskets -new fuel pump -new rubber fuel lines and insulated lines around motor -new aluminum radiator and hoses -new water pump -new harmonic balancer -new performance fan and spacer -new brakes, pads, rotors, drums and calipers -new proportioning valve and master cylinder -new rear end housing, bearings and spider gears -new axle bearings -NOS 2bbl stock carburetor -new plugs, wires, distributor and Pertronix hot spark system -transmission FULLY rebuilt -new Flowmaster muffler
Bodywork done in ‘09 & the rear quarters now has bubbling beginning along the bottoms and both back corners need some sanding and a touch-up, but that’s it- he rest of the car is solid and even the rubber bumpers and bumperettes look great. Mint original black interior with Deluxe interior with horsecollar seats. The floors and pans are great (see pics) and the car can be a reliable daily driver, I drive it to work frequently, Has around 129K miles but doesn’t smoke, knock or ping. Drips and 2 drops per week and all fluids are new.
Clear title in my name. Just don’t see many Esprits around in this shape anymore and are far less common than the Trans Am. $500 deposit within 24 hours and balance due before pick-up. Ask any questions and condition issues before bidding. Thanks! NO zero feedback bidders.
