Vehicle description

YOU ARE VIEWING A SUPER COOL AND VERY SOLID 1974 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA. THIS PLYMOUTH HAS A REALLY NEAT LOOKING PATINA WHICH ALWAYS DRAWS A CROWD. IT LOOKS LIKE IT JUST ROLLED OUT OF THE MID "70s WITH ITS JACKED UP STANCE, BIG AND LITTLES, AND TRACTION BARS. HERE ARE SOME DETAILS ABOUT TH IS CUDA,
BUILT 340 ENGINE WITH J HEADS SOLID LIFTER CAMSHAFT (NICE LOPEY IDLE) EDELBROCK ALUMINUM INTAKE HOLLEY DUAL LINE CARB. HEADERS DUAL EXHAUST WITH CORRECT OUTLETS THROUGH THE REAR VALANCE ELECTRONIC IGNITION 727 TRANSMISSION 3.23 8 AND 3/4 REAR END WITH SURE GRIP POWER STEERING POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES LAKEWOOD TRACTION BARS CRAGAR SS MAGS BF GOODRICH RADIAL TA TIRES (BRAND NEW FRONTS AND VERY GOOD REARS) CUDA 340 HOOD WITH PINS CUDA AAR REAR SPOILER CUDA AAR STRIP KIT CENTER CONSOLE WITH SLAPSTICK FUNCTIONAL WIPERS, TURN SIGNALS, LIGHTS, HEATER, STEREO/CD/BLUETOOTH, ETC. RALLY GAUGE CLUSTER PLUS AFTERMARKET GAUGES FRONT BUCKETS AND REAR SEATS HAVE BEEN RECOVERED IN CUSTOM PATTERN AND MATERIAL ETC. THE PAINT AND BODY ARE IN GOOD SERVICEABLE CONDITION WITH LOTS OF PATINA! MY ORIGINAL PLAN UPON PURCHASING THIS CAR WAS TO REPAINT IT, BUT I HAVE REALLY GROWN TO LIKE THE PATINA LOOK A LOT. I ADDED THE STRIPE KIT, THE WHEELS AND TIRES, TRACTION BARS, AND PAINTED THE ROOF WHITE (USED TO HAVE A VINYL TOP). THE BURNT ORANGE PAINT HAS BUFF OUT NICELY IN SOME AREAS AND NOT SO NICELY IN OTHERS. THE BODY IS PRETTY STRAIGHT AND OVERALL IT"S PRETTY SOLID. THE FRAME RAILS AND FLOORS LOOK GOOD TOO. THERE IS SOME BLISTERS OR BUBBLING IN A FEW AREAS AS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICS/VIDEO.
MECHANICALLY, THE CAR IS GOOD. IT STARTS UP EASILY AND SETTLES INTO A NICE LUMPY IDLE. IT DOES NOT RUN HOT OR MAKE ANY STRANGE NOISES AND HAS LOTS OF POWER. IT DRIVES NICE AND STRAIGHT DOWN THE ROAD AND STOPS WELL TOO. THE TIRES ARE LIKE NEW AND THE CAR HAS PROVEN TO BE VERY RELIABLE. IT DOES LEAK A LITTLE TRANSMISSION FLUID (I THINK IT NEEDS A NEW PAN GASKET) AND DRIP OR TWO OF OIL FROM THE REAR MAIN SEAL (I THINK) BUT NOT ENOUGH TO WARRANT FIXING AT THIS TIME (IN MY OPINION). MOST OF THE GAUGES WORK BUT GAUGE LIGHTS DO NOT. THIS REALLY IS A FUN CAR TO DRIVE AND IT GETS A TON OF ATTENTION EVERYWHERE IT GOES. MOPARS ARE PRETTY SCARCE IN THE SOUTEASTERN USA, ESPECIALLY COMPARED TO CAMAROS, CHEVELLES, MUSTANGS, ETC. DON"T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN AN APPRECIATING CLASSIC MUSCLE CAR WHILE THEY ARE STILL AFFORDABLE.
