This Jensen is being relisted due to a non-paying winner of my prior auction. Please do not bid unless you are prepared to complete the transaction.
1974 Jensen Interceptor for parts or restoration. The car was running and driving when I purchased it in 2006. It has been in dry inside storage during my ownership. Other than a missing radio, the car appears to be complete. Restoration work including partial disassembly and paint stripping began several years ago, but I no longer have the time or the inclination to finish the project.
The car was originally painted red but has been resprayed blue in a color that closely resembles a factory blue that Jensen offered in 1974. The car also was optioned with a tan vinyl top.
There is some evidence of prior rust repair and the paint stripping process has revealed other areas where rust repair is needed.
The car is currently garaged in Plano, TX. I have a clear NY State title in hand. Inspections are encouraged and can be arranged by appointment. The car is sold as- is with no warranties.
A deposit of $500 is required within 48 hours of the auction conclusion. If the deposit is not received within this time, the I reserve the right to offer the car to the next highest bidder.
