Vehicle description

About this vehicle This 1974 Ford Courier is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows. Seller"s Notes Pics concrete the description. Vehicle Details Shipped from Japan in the fall of 1973 and arriving to the port in Van Nuys, CA. Then shipped by rail across the USA, eventually arriving in Yadkinville, NC to the local Ford dealership, Dan Beck Ford (now closed for the last 15 yrs). This is where the original couple bought it in early 1974. It remained in that couple’s procession until 2012. It stayed parked in a garage all that time and driven very little. From the estate of the original couple, it was sold to a college kid in Charlotte who only had it a few weeks. Personal reasons put it up for sale on CL. The ad was jyst 30 minutes old before I saw it. Then I called on it and bought it 2 days later. Drove it from Charlotte nearly to Raleigh with very little brakes. Luckily the kid didn’t have it long enough to change its original condition. Replaced 2 leaking wheell cylinders and brakes were fixed I bought with 59,000 original miles and in 8 years, added another 8000 to it. Drove it from NC to FL round trip around 2015 and replaced the clutch slave cylinder on the trip. The only other thing I changed was the tires in 2013 and those take offs were installed in April of 1974 when the truck was just a few months old according to the date codes on the sidewall of the tires. Have the paperwork on tnose 1974 Uniroyal TP tires. The spare is one of the Five factory original hard ply tires. I saved one of the Uniroyal take offs as a souvenir. The original white seat was splitting in the seams bad. Ran across a 1975 Courier with nicer black seat. Still have the original to go with it. The truck condition is all original, never painted, never wrecked. It is certainly an eye catcher at the car show. It sits in the garage. 95 % of the time. Lately have to charge the battery, but its got a date sticker on it from November, 2010, so that’s expected. The truck runs fine. It is a manual 4 soeed( 5 speed manual followed the bext year). So with that being said. 62 mph is about it. If you wanna take care of it. Not interested in any trades and the starting bid is FIRM. Has a cleR FL title in my name and a photo copy of the previous one. No odors and it have never been smoked in I don’t believe because the factory ashtray is a hint being spotless. Requires a $500 deposit immediately upon tbe sale. Thanks for looking. Images Exterior Interior Engine Created on the Motors app
