This 1974 Dodge Ramcharger was a 1 owner truck all the way until 2018. On February 4,1975, a 23 year old Meridian Mississippi man walked into Landrum Motors and purchased this 1/2 door Ram Charger. The purchase price was $4,700 and it was financed with Citizens National Bank. I have the original green Mississippi title.
I have owned this Ramcharger for nearly aT year and have done the following;
Drop fuel tank, clean, install NOS fuel sender (try finding one of these) and filter sock, replaced filler neck hose, tank grommet and lock ring, all new rubber fuel lines, filters, and rebuilt carburetor. The fuel pump is about a year old and was replaced by the original owner.
Oil change
Replaced inner and outer hub bearings, races and retainers with NOS Mopar. These are now serviceable with grease fittings. Also replaced passenger outer tie rod end and had alignment completed.
The Ramcharger runs and drives good. Strong 318 engine, automatic transmission shifts good and 4WD works. The ORIGINAL Radiator cools the 318 well with no overheating. Lights, gauges, heater, horn, radio all work. All emissions, jack equipment, spare rim, owner"s manual etc., is all there. This is also a factory auxiliary HD transmission cooler truck.
Original paint on hood, tailgate, and all passenger side panels. Driver side panels repainted due to scraping yellow post at gas station years ago.
Has rust, dings and dents. The rust that is present is from leaking. Metal top has rust. There is NO salt corrosion! Solid frame, body mounts, engine compartment inner fenders and hood. Per the original owner, the top has leaked since day 1. I have several under carriage pictures that I can text or email.
