Vehicle Details For auction, 1974 Dodge Monaco, 360 Engine, Automatic Transmission. This car has spent most, if not all, of its life in Oregon. The car is showing 48,668 miles on the odometer. I don’t know if this is the original mileage, but based on the cars condition, it could be. The car has original engine and transmission ~ everything under the hood is original. It has the original windshield, which is very clean, with no chips, breaks or scratches. All the windows roll up and down easily. I’m guessing this is the original paint. It’s a very solid car with no rot anywhere on the quarters, rockers or underneath it~all solid. Exterior just has normal wear for its age with dings/scratches. Clear title to vehicle with the original keys. The interior is in very nice condition for its age, no cracks in the dash and a very nice headliner. All the lights and gauges work, heater works, good brakes. The clock and radio do not work, and the AC doesn’t work, but all of the AC parts are still intact. Car has original jack, spare tire and wheel. It has new tires, belts, battery and a recent oil change. I drive this car every day and it is very smooth on the road. It handles very well on the highway and could be driven to buyers destination. This is a very rare year, the 1974 Dodge Monaco can be used for many things: As a “Blues Mobile” from the movie The Blues Brothers. As a “Roscoe Police Car” from The Dukes of Hazzard. This style car was used in the first five episodes. As an Original California Police Car, like used by the California police in 1974.
