Vehicle description
I have had this car in my collection for 10+ years. A very, very rare 454 AIR CONDIONED CONVERTIBLE - FULLY LOADED WITH PS, PB, PW, LEATHER, TILT/TELE.
I purchased it from a woman who had begun to restore it but lost interest. I had the car stripped and repainted and spent an additional $17,000 in parts and labor to finish the project.
Since completing the work it was rarely driven and stored in my warehouse with 12 other cars. Last year there was a claim paid on this car. My insurance carrier did not want to deal with trying to blend or repaint the car so they totaled it and paid the insured value. As part of my policy rider I was allowed to keep the car.
I was planning to have my friend that did the new paint back in 2011 color sand and respray the entire car, instead I"ve decided to move on and sell as a salvage .
The car is drivable.
The interior should be professionally detailed.
This is a great opportunity to own a very rare car at about half the normal price. I have not registered the car. The open MA title I have in my possession is clear. Buyer will sign and notarize the written bill of sale stating that they are purchasing this vehicle as a SALVAGE vehicle.
Knowledgeable and Serious inquires only please.
AGAIN - Buyer will need to sign and notarize a statement stating that they are purchasing this vehicle at a discount and the car may have salvage history. The PAINT NEEDS ATTENTION has been affected and yellowed. See photos and note the hood and door jambs.
