1974 Chevy Nova Here’s the story. . My best friend purchased this car in 1978 from a car lot. Approximately 15 years ago he put it away in hopes of restoring while gathering parts. I purchased it last spring and put it back together. Pics show how I found it and various stages of assembly. She was refitted with a custom built 1972 350 L79 motor bored .030 over, heads, cam etc. at Rick’s Speed Shop, receipts provided. ALL New carpet, headliner and custom velour reupholstered seats. New Lakewood shocks all around, new front coil springs, new rear leaf springs, new U-joints, new tires, new inner fender wells and new front disc brake upgrade from original drum brakes, very nice Centerline rims. Also comes with boxes of other brand new items that I will attempt to list. Radiator Supports. Full set of rubber hood stops. 68-74 heater lens. SS emblem. Additional set of chrome headlight covers. Windshield seal. Anti-rattle gas tank kit. 2 side mirror grommets. Gas pedal w/chrome. Brake pedal. Chrome dipstick tube. Trunk weather-strip. Full window weather-strip kit felts. Hood to cowl seal. Side marker gaskets. Various jute insulations. Front and rear fiberglass bumper fillers. And more…. This is a nice car. It needs proper body alignment of the front clip and it has small dents dings but no cancer or rot.
