Vehicle Details 1974 Chevrolet Custom 10 Short Bed Four Wheel Drive Pickup. I have a clear Utah title in my name. This is an original, good, running, and driving truck.You can drive the truck anywhere with confidence. It is dependable and starts easily. I have over $6,000 in receipts for the rebuilt engine, air-conditioning, dual gas tanks, and transmission work, that will be in the glovebox along with the original owner's manual. Please look closely at all of the photos, and check my Ebay feedback scores. I highly value my over 1100 positive feedbacks and I want the new owner to know exactly what they are buying. With this in mind, I will list both the positive and negative aspects of my 1974 Chevrolet Short Bed. First the positive aspects: This is an original Short Bed truck with factory four wheel drive and air-conditioning. It has power steering and power brakes all of which work well. The engine was rebuild and there are recent receipts that document the work that was completed by a professional repair shop. The receipts will come with the the truck. You can drive the truck anywhere. It has dual gas tanks with a operating switch which shows the level of gas in each tank. All the glass is good, the hood, doors, and tailgate all work perfectly. The body is factory straight. The negative aspects: First, the original paint was covered with artistic painting which was painted on the truck by the original owner's daughter. The removal of the "art work?" damaged the original clear coat and original paint in several places. The truck looks fine, but it needs to be repainted. You can see remnants of the art work. Second, there is rust in the driver's side rocker and cab corner, as well as the passenger's side lower fender. I've taken photos of the rust issues and priced the body panels. There is an $88. kit that has both rockers and cab corners on Ebay. In addition, the dog leg on the driver's side is rusted and the back edge of the bed floor has some rust. Again, please look closely at all of the photos. The frame is excellent and overall the rust repairs are not critical, but as I mentioned I want the new owner to know exactly what the negative aspects are. The interior is original, and the back of the bench seat is good, but the driver's side lower section of the original seat cover is tattered. The original dash pad has cracks as shown in the photos.
