I named it my "Eldo-Camino" - 1 of a kind - Super Rare & Super Nice!
Odometer is at 90k, has about 500 miles since full restoration in 2018.
Body: New body fillers (ABS plastic, replaced the original rubber version)
Heavy marine-grade bed cover - Ample storage below bed via hatch
New front-wheel-well splash seals - Fiberglass portion meticulously restored Sheet and frame metal is pristine - Previously a Nevada desert car.
Tailgate does not hinge down but is removable.
Mechanical:
Front end was completely rebuilt with:
New front axles, upper/lower ball joints, sway bar bushings Front and rear brakes completely rebuilt - New tires all around
Custom dual exhaust w/chrome tips - Has a nice rumble, but not too loud. New timing chain and gears; New lifters, gaskets, seals
Oil pan removed and cleaned; New battery & cables
Upgraded ignition to HEI electronic , with new plugs and 8mm wires
New A/C compressor, converted to 134a, blows COLD Air! New front shocks - New rear air shocks
Interior:
Front bench (cloth) seat re-upholstered - New carpeting - New rubber door frame seals
Door cards and upper/lower dashboard professionally re-upholstered
Storage area behind front bench seat is unfinished ( no rear seat)
This car is fun to drive, and really gets the looks!
