A rare find 1973 VW Thing, this treasure piece had been stored in a container for 20 years which has helped with its current condition. The convertible top has been removed due to wear and tear and the frame does need some metal work. The curtains are usable. Due to the age of the vehicle, the body needed some attention and modernization. I’veswamped out the original chassis and today it’s sitting on a newly restored 68 VW Karmann Ghia chassis to provide it’s current stance. The original chassis is available and will be included in the purchase upon request. This treasure has 4” narrow beam, front air shocks, disc brakes, new floor pans and pro stock transmission. The rear of the vehicle has been fitted with extended spring plates and air shocks. This gem has sporty new rims and tires (18560r15) The motor has been rebuilt along with clutch kit, fly wheel .in-play and valves adjusted, along with new exhaust.
