Vehicle description
Volkswagen Beetle - Classic. This is a 73 Standard Bug. We purchased about 5 Years ago as a painted shell of a car. It had no motor, fuel system, interior, electrical, etc. This was a father and son project that started when he was 13. What a great experience!
We built a motor from scratch, put in new fuel system, brakes, electrical, dashboard, 3 point seat belts, aftermarket gauges, steering wheel. . The list goes on. Everything is essentially new except the glass.
We have not got around to installing the windshield wipers, radio, heat system (J tubes used now instead of heater boxes).
We also have some extra parts to go with the car. Brand new front and rear original style bumpers, miscellaneous switches, wires, heater boxes, tins etc.
The paint is nice, but not perfect. There are some scratches/chips on the bottom of the front apron. There are some scratches on both rear bumpers. The car was like this when we purchased it. When i patched the sunroof cutout with a new roof, I forgot to ask the painter to fix those spots and never went back to him.
Happy to answer any questions. Clean, clear title. Car located in Gilbert, Arizona.
