Vehicle description

1973 VWBeetle sedan in unmolested original condition. Odometer reads 70,452 miles. The car is from rural West Virginia and has been garaged majority of its life. There is very little sun damage. Details I inspected best to my VW beetle knowledge( I owned body shops and have worked on them in past). Body: I cannot find collision damage, all body panels are original, glass is original, interior original, The trunk tray floors are terrific no seen rot in usual places. The car was repainted 20 years ago, nice repaint work. Only rot I can find is both sides under rear quarter windows. See pics and a little bubble at drivers top door hinge. Trays pan suspension look great! I have not put it overhead lift buy there are no signs of any structural issues in any of car. Body is extremely straight! I only felt one dime size ding in roof panel. Tires good radials I have receipts from 2018 replacement of inner outer tie rods. I drove it 55 miles home and what I observed, is was a little sluggish idle cold. Once it warmed up it ran shifts steers great. I did look at eng compartment after drive and there is a gas seepage at gasket on carb. Probably reason for cold start idle. It shifts great all gauges work. Interior stock spare tire and mounting gas cap all original. This car is a very good example of a sedan unmolested VW. What’s not radio with 4 speakers, works nice. Period ladybug floor mats, steering wheel? ? It has a VW stamp on it so I don’t know if it’s stock or not. Gear shift knob. That’s all I see that’s not period correct original.
I’m selling because I have no time to dedicate to it. I really want it to go a enthusiast. Call me Rhonda. Please no low balling, make me a buy at now offer or just buy it. Won’t be disappointed. I won’t pay for shipping but will work with your carrier.
