Vehicle description
This is a beautiful 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible for sale. One of only 2,550 made, this rare classic underwent a complete restoration just 5 years ago and has been garaged ever since.
During the restoration process, it was important to the owner to use as many of the original parts possible. This is evidenced by the small tear in the driver’s seat as they are totally original.
It has the 1600 dual port engine, 4 speed manual transaxle, and runs and drives as good as it looks. With a complete new front axle beam and all new brakes, this car steers and stops like a dream. However, the mileage shown in the ad is not the actual mileage and is unknown.
This beautiful Ghia has been recognized for it’s flawless condition and visual appeal by winning numerous awards which includes placing 1st at the nationally known VW Show held annually in Eureka Springs, Arkansas as well as appearing in Hot VW magazine on numerous occasions.
This Ghia is not perfect as there are a couple of very small rust spots underneath on the floor pans. Feel free to message me with any questions that you may have or for more pictures. Thank you for looking.
