1973 FJ40 Cruiser. Lots of love put into this one. This thing is an absolute joy to drive…I have loved it for many years, but it is time to part with it to a good home. A couple of highlights: · Rebuilt 2F engine · Converted from a 3-speed to 4-speed synchro · 4-wheel disc brakes (Wilwood front and Chevy rear) · Rewired the vehicle with a new harness · Upgraded headlights and tail lights · Spray lined the inside of the tub and added Aussie doors · Ground down the body and removed any rust…and painted roughly 3 years ago. I have a complete set of hard doors available as a kit. I have the components and just haven’t put them all together. This will be included if so desired…a couple of thousand dollars to get all of the parts together for these (still in the bags), so it’s a good deal for someone who wants to restore this even further. As with almost any 46 year old vic, there are a handful of things of note and work: · Some bolts on the outside have surface rust (no rust on the body) · Starter works, but needs to likely be replaced at some point in the future · Speedometer cable needs to be replaced Free local pickup.
