Vehicle description
This 1973 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 was refurbished. It is finished in Pollux Orange over a refreshed interior, and power is from a 3.9-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes Old Man Emu suspension components, BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires, a rear bench seat, and a Bluetooth audio system. This FJ40 is now offered in OHIO with a clean OHIO title.
The truck was refinished in Pollux Orange (304) with a white roof, and features include a steel front bumper, off-road lights, dual side mirrors, side steps, and a rear-mounted spare tire. Scratches are present on the passenger-side quarter panel and can be viewed close-up in the gallery, along with photos of the refurbishment.
Gray-painted 15″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and 31×10.5″ BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires that were recently installed. An Old Man Emu 3″ suspension lift was fitted, and manually locking wheel hubs are equipped up front.
The replacement interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black. Features include a center console, rubber floor liner, lap belts, and a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo.
The body-color steel dashboard features a black top pad and houses a pull-out ashtray and the glovebox. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, water temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 49k miles, 1,500 of which were added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The 3.9-liter Type F inline-six is paired with a three-speed manual transmission and two-speed transfer case. Work performed during previous ownership is said to have included the installation of a replacement alternator and spark plugs, and more recent work included an oil change.
I can deliver the car to you for $2 a mile. If you have any questions or want to come look at it here in Cincinnati give me a call.
