At the time the majority of Volkswagen"s development work was handled by Porsche as part of an agreement that dated back to Porsche"s founding. Volkswagen needed to contract out one last project to Porsche to fulfill the contract, and decided to make the 914 that project. Ferdinand Piëch, who was in charge of research and development at Porsche, was put in charge of the 914 project. This particular 914 sourced from a good local clients personal collection, haas been lovingly cared for, and haas zero issues or needs. These classic 914"s in this condition, are such a great and obtainable classic that are a joy to drive through the twisty back country roads. Displaying beautifully in its original metallic silver over black, its turn key ready, and looking to be loved and enjoyed by a new owner. Contact us today with any questions at all. The engine and transmission are believed to be original but this is unconfirmed. Its restoration date is unknown

There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced, reconditioned and inspected.
