404-719-4265 1973 Porsche 911 T Stock #: CS-100912 Exterior Color: Viper (Kelly) Green Interior Color: Black Transmission: Manual Drivetrain: RWD Engine: F6, 2.4 LITER Title Condition: Clear
As the 1970s progressed, Porsche continued to advance its 911 series. By 1970, the 911 was developing more power, was more sophisticated, and more reliable. Beginning in 1969, the cars not only utilized carbureted fuel delivery, but they also began to integrate fuel injection through the development of a Bosch mechanical system.
Starting with the 1972 model year, Porsche increased displacement from 2.2L to 2.4L. Engineering also developed a new gearbox eliminating the “dog leg” of the older 901 unit. The new gearbox, the 915, was stronger, easier to shift, and capable of holding much more power/torque. Also for the ‘72 and the first half of the ‘73 model years, all of the 911s (T, E, and S) were mechanically injected as standard equipment. The T engine output 140 hp, the E model produced 165 hp while the S registered 190 hp. Later in 1973, the T moved to a Bosch K-Jetronic CIS (Continuous Injection System) while the E/S cars remained mechanically injected.
#912 is Viper (Kelly) Green over black leatherette. It is an early 1973 911T which was produced in November, 1972 and incorporates the much more coveted Bosch mechanical fuel injection system as opposed to CIS. “Pine Tree” as my daughter has named him, is 100% ORGINAL and was the subject of a recent Porsche Panorama magazine article titled “Time Traveler”. He has only 72,975 documented miles with every single book and record back to his original window sticker!
This is, without question, one of the best T’s on the planet and would accent any collection world-wide.

· Lightweight forged Fuchs rims
· Chrome fender strips
· Left side retractable antenna
