1973 Plymouth Fury. Condition is "Used".
Up for auction is a 1973 Plymouth Fury I, former Sonoma County Sheriff car. Car is a solid runner and a great starting base for a restoration, or can be driven as-is. According to previous owner, car only spent two years in service when auctioned and moved to Arizona. Spent most of it"s life there, then mid "05 moved to Tennessee then NY in "09. Currently the car is in Southern California. There was some rust repair done at some point by a previous owner in the passenger foot well, but it didn"t extend beyond that, and the car was media blasted and has two coats of PPG DP 40LF epoxy primer/sealer. Body and chrome is very straight. E68 400/4BBL High Performance motor, TorqueFlite 3sp transmission, factory A/C, Edelbrock Performer carb. Less than 100 miles on Cooper Cobra G/T 235/70/15 tires. New SuperStart premium battery, new oil/air/fuel filters. Oil Change just done, recent steering box rebuild, power steering rebuild. Dash pad is original and in excellent, un-cracked condition. Headliner excellent.Seats have aftermarket seat covers installed by a previous owner, original fabric is available from SMS. Door cards are a little shabby, (the one pictured is the worst one) but i believe SMS can also re-do these. Car runs well, has decent power, shifts as it should and brakes well. Glass is all intact,lights, turn signals, horn all work.Could probably use some new shocks, it"s a little spongy. Valve covers leak a little oil and a new set of gaskets is included. Clean California title, registered thru" October 2021.
