“Older paint that was most likely inexpensive when applied years ago, but has a decent shine, car is cloned to look like the Liberty Mutual car on TV. It is not a restored car, but has good original floors and underbody. Nice condition interior including the headliner. Dash has some shrinkage and cuts. Evidence of body putty and bubbles in some areas of rear fenders and below doors. Lots of imperfections, burned paint with buffer, chips under decals and blisters in areas. I have a new brake master cylinder that goes with the car- the current unit is showing seepage out of the top cover - not having a braking issue, but would replace to prevent that seepage. . Wipers stopped working two months ago , horn works ( not very loud though), gauges work, lights work. Good fun car to drive and enjoy. Has jack and matching rim spare with a new tire on the spare.”

Vehicle description

1973 Plymouth Duster - factory 318 with the highly sought after factory fold down rear seat. What a fun car. I drove it to the Run to the Sun event in Myrtle Beach ( 450 mile round trip) in March and it drew a ton of attention. People love seeing this car and it is a real good driver. Has a factory V-8 318 engine and automatic with power steering and factory front disc brakes. Side stripe decals to match the Liberty car in the commercials along with the magnetic blue light is included too. New fuel tank this year.
The car will include all the fun stuff that make going to a car cruise in or show even more fun. The stand up display to make you look like LiMu Emu and Doug ( photo showing the life size display in the auction that any one can put their head into to look like Doug as shown at a cruise in I drove to last month) and two stuffed Emus as well as all of the sunglasses and key chains and the virtually signed autograph from the actor who plays Doug on the commercials.
The car is in my name only and a free and clear North Carolina title. It starts right up - factory electronic ignition.
Feel free to call me with questions 252-916-4367. I prefer you call me before you bid so I can answer any question you have on the car.
This is a real good car to drive as it runs smooth and cool and I would not worry to drive it any distance, so if you buy it drive it home!
Start the bidding at $8500 to see if there is someone who wants to enjoy this car as I have. High bid wins this car -it will be sold to the highest bidder at the end of the auction.
You will get more enjoyment driving in this car than just about any other car, plus you will smile and laugh all along the way. I promise. I get the looks and thumbs up all the time. Or at a stop light I get the comments - only pay for what you need and I respond - I can save you money! Such fun.
