Mercury Montego . Condition is Used.
1973 Mercury Montego MX Brougham. Car has 351 Cleaveland that has been worked on including new camshaft and intake and carb. Has long tube headers into Flowmaster exhaust. originally vinyl top, but I had that removed and painted off white, same color as vinyl. It has a new headliner. The car runs and drives fantastic, as I just drove it to and from Daytona Beach for the Turkey Rod Run. Temperature never exceeds 180 and with the 3.50 gears, I was running about 75 at 3200 rpm. The car has new wheels and tires. Needs interior redone, or at least front seat and carpet and dash pad. Power steering and power brakes work phenomenally. No rust at all, as car was originally from California until the last 5-8 years. The transmission is a C4 with a shift kit, so it does shift hard. Will also need paint at some point to make it show worthy. I do have an amazing condition GT hood primed black that could go with it for the right price. Car has clean title.
