Vehicle description
Mazda Other . For sale is my 1973 mazda rx3 coupe. 4 speed manual transmission. I am the second owner. Car has just over 100k miles. Looks like rear rotor housing was replaced at some point because the number plate on the number 2 housing is missing, number 1 is there witch suggests that it is the original engine. This car is amazingly clean. It runs great, starts easy, drives and handles great but could use new shocks/struts. Suspension it tight, new tires, brakes are like new. clutch fells like it is brand new. You can drive this car across country right now. Interior is very nice. no cracks in dash pad or steering wheel. Great color on steering wheel and shift knob. Drivers seat has 2 tears at seems other than that the upholstery is excellent. The carpet is even excellent. The rear dash pad behind rear seat is excellent with no speaker holes cut and never any speaker holes cut in doors. Trunk is clean and rust free and so is the battery tray area in the engine compartment. There is no signs of rust around the front or rear windshields or on the rocker panels. The bottom of the doors are excellent, hood and trunk lid are both in amazing condition. All factory stickers appear to be in place. Car has factory jack, tool bag, paint touchup can, buyers booklet, both sets of original rotor keys and numbered ignition keys. It even has an official period correct mazda rotary nail clipper. The exterior is very straight. The lower front apron is perfectly straight. Excellent bumpers, passenger rear was slightly tapped and needs to be straightened. The taillights still have their factory red on them. The red tail light paint was always a problem, it was flaking off of them when they were new and still on the dealers lot so not bad. Everything works as it should. The paint is still better than it should be. The car has its share of scuffs, light scratches and some dings. There is some sun damage to the paint on the roof and trunk lid shown in pictures but very presentable. A few dings on grill surround and the rest of the chrome is excellent. Rubber is all good. Antenna rubber still looks new. Door mirror is excellent. Factory wheels are still on car. All badging is excellent. Glass is all excellent. This is a very clean example of the early rx3 with all of the cool badging and chrome. Wheel well chrome all looks new. This is a collector car and is ready for a car show right now. This is a perfect time to buy when the Australian dollar levels out with ours this car and many like them will be untouchable.
