Vehicle description

I purchased this vehicle in 2011 from an estate with 112,000 miles. It was bought new near Hayward California and spent half its life in Beebe Arkansas before my obtaining ownership in 2011. Original purchase order, window sticker and set of maintenance books from Ford included. Vehicle had clean panels with a scrape in paint on right side front fender and even less on rear quarter flare. Prior original owner was a 90 year old woman and I guess the land yacht got to be a lot to maneuver. The four high points topside of front fenders and rear tail have some paint wear from the on and off use of being kept under a cover for its entire life. In 2013 I had the gas tank cleaned and rust treatment coated  as well as a new fuel and water pump. Everything worked but did need R12 charge for A/C. Car ran well. Then in 2013 placed in temporary storage in an old tobacco barn on my property. Barn was not in great condition with trees growing thru side. I had put six cars in this barn with no intent of long term storage, however poor health left them there. In 2015 an ice storm took part of roof split the entry way open and leaned building in 2 directions. They were left until 2017 and then put in a new barn after demolition of old.  First 2 pics of before storage. Next 2 pics are how it looked when pulled out There was hackleberry tree sap and dust all over the Lincoln. I removed 70% of it in 2017 but still needed more clean up. See rest of pics. No real body damage. Clean undercarriage. Chrome has slight oxidation from being in elements. Low down near cowl on passenger side windshield are a couple small stars. Interior is nice. Triple green color. I was able to replace battery and gas in 2017 and car started up. And now it has sat in the new barn collecting dust since then. Six months ago I hired a mobile mechanic to come out and get all vehicles running so as to sell. He jumped battery, cleaned  carb, changed oil, gas, spark plugs and timed it. It ran however when you shift into drive or reverse has a tendency to choke and stall. He explained off as needing a throttle sensor. Not quite sure 1973 had those but I"m not a mechanic. I sold 4 of vehicles that he got running so far but after he had trouble getting a truck to run he cited that it was too long a trip for him and he would not be back.  I am sure we can jump it and show it running without much of a problem. With all my sales - if you are not happy at in person pickup I will refund your deposit to paypal, cancel the auction with ebay with no negative feedback.  You are welcomed to preview the vehicle during the auction or after if no sale. It will have to be towed from property cause tires are 20 - 45 years old - one is the original spare plus the stall problem. It is a nice time capsule especially if you like 8 track tape decks.
