1973 Jeep - Last year of Commando
"C104" 3 inches longer than previous "Jeepster" Much better leg-room and larger engine compartment
(In 1972 and 73 they discontinued the name "Jeepster)
304 V-8 runs absolutely excellently. Runs quiet, no squeaks, no clicks, no leaks.
Automatic transmission shifts perfectly
4-wheel drive works perfectly - manual hubs
38,990 original miles ! AND most of the miles were from being towed behind a motorhome !
Very excellent condition with no rust anywhere. Was completely "rhino-hided" many years ago inside the body and undercoated underneath. Zero rust.
Laser-straight body, no dents, beautiful, new paint, excellent glass (original color was blah-beige)
Power steering, power brakes. Wonderfuly easy and fun to drive!
4-inch lift with new shocks but easy to get in and rides pretty smooth
New mag wheels, New 31 10.50 15 BF Goodrich All Terrain tires
Seats are almost like-new.
A/C appears to be factory installed. Has a huge compressor and belt ishooked-up and turning. I don"t know if it works = during summer the top is off so no A/C is used
Lots of new parts like shocks, alternator, belts, hoses, plug wires, full tune-up etc.
Original steel top unbolts and comes-off in 10 minutes
Original manual and original keys
Super clean! Virtually never off-roaded. Rarely driven in snow and not driven in area of salted roads.
