And it’s a Great Investment As Well! ! If you know these cars in high-end original low mile condition, you know these are hot and hard to find…especially with these options and in super condition. This ‘73 looks great up close as well as 10 foot off! I consider it to be in #2 Condition. This was in a Georgia Collection for 35 years and was purchased out of the Estate 2 years go. While under the collection, the car was repainted Black and was highly disassembled for a thorough and professional job. The interior was correctly converted to Tan (Biscuit) Leather which was originally French blue. The estate buyer took the car to a trusted British Restorer in South Carolina to freshen it car up and his services were completed about a year ago when a friend of mine found it… The S.C. British restorer ended up buying the car in the midst of his efforts on it with plans to sell when completed. My friend and current owner has owned several XKE Series 1, 2 & 3’s over the years and jumped on this car when he found it due to its overall condition and miles. The car still needed a few minor adjustments and repairs to really dial it in which falls under his passion and has been thoroughly completed. He has decided to let a few different cars in his collection go and asked me to assist. This Jaguar is fine-tuned, freshened completely up is an absolute BLAST to drive… it has also proved to offer a pretty High level of reliability and is a “drive it anywhere” option if desired. So now with motivation to sell, he has priced it aggressively and accordingly. NOTE: You will see a current image of Old-Car Price guide where I found these cars in #2 condition are valued at $105k… this car is priced well below that valuation. The car is a pleasure to drive… driving down the road with the top down and with the sound of the exhaust can only freeze smiles on faces. What else can I say, It all works including but not limited to lights, dash cluster, courtesy and signal / brake lights, speedometer, tachometer, horn, wipers, gauges and heater / defroster, Cold Air-Conditioning, Choke, etc…. This is the Real Deal! The Front Bumpers have been converted to the Series Two style which looks much better however the original Series Three bumpers are boxed up and come with the car as well. Is this car perfect…no and none of them are! It is a well preserved 43k mile Survivor that has had one professional re-paint. That is really it… It has not been blown apart with every nut & bolt reassembled but I prefer them this way for they are only original once! You might find a small imperfection here or there but they came that way from the factory. The original radio is there but is not currently working. You would be extremely proud to roll up with this Roadster at any event regardless of competition level and fit in with confidence. I am assisting my friend with selling this car because he is not the best with computers… His cars and mine are just a hobby and has simply allowed me to experience and enjoy many different ones over the years…he is clearing out space in his shop to create room and a lesser load of responsibility! This is a buy-it-now ad. . I am pricing this car to sell and don’t think it will last long so do not hesitate to buy and please do so with absolute confidence! Please have finances in order prior to bidding as well. Purely as a hobby, I have been blessed to sell cars to buyers all over the country and internationally and take tremendous efforts in keeping a 100% feedback…that said, I have tried to be honest and accurate in all descriptions. I encourage however all to inspect this car if possible prior to bidding so that you can confirm my notes above or contact me with any questions at [email protected] or (865) 384-6017. Note: My friend is located in Daytona Florida and has the car and Title… it will need to be picked up from there and can be viewed there most any time in person. I will assist both the buyer and the seller all the way through the questions and transaction. If you are the winning bidder, please expect to send a $2,500 deposit within 72 hours and have plans to pick the car up within 7 days. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but I can assist with local direct carriers with both enclosed and open hauling available. If you have less than a positive 2 feedback, please contact me before bidding. Thanks for taking the time to look at my car and GOOD LUCK!
