73 Maverick, this is a great car with very little to no rust, all rust was cut out when body work and paint was complete.Only tiny rust at all is at hood scoop attatchment where scoop and hood join, scoop is coming off and needs to be re-done. Hot rod black paint is not perfect it has tiger stripes. brand new jegs rims and brand new tires with mickey thompson rear street tires. This car is cool and gets a lot of looks. Motor is a 302 "roller motor" out of a 1995 ford explorer i think, this is according to previous owner. Motor looks good also. I will be keeping holley carb and it will be running with a eddlebrock carb, i am also keeping tacometer and thats it. Car is loud and sounds good (it will wake your neighbors), has dual exhaust with glasspack type mufflers and dumps out sides behind doors. 8" rearend with a spool (both tires hook up). Rebuilt c-4 with shiftkit and b-m hammer ratchet shifter. Has mitsubusi seats that are very comfortable but they need to be re-covered to match and has no carpet. Exact mileage unknown. The car runs and drives good. I took it to several shows this year. Car is pretty much complete except interior needs completed. I also have heard a "tick" in the motor from time to time and sometimes do not hear anything and some people dont hear it at all. I have never worried about it myself. One of my mechanic friends listed to it a while back and said it may need a lifter adjustment? I believe the motor also has a cam its somewhat lumpy. Also has gt-40 heads steel. These cars are getting much more collecteble and hard to find espessially in this good of condition. no reserve, located in pueblo co 81003
